The median annual wage for radiologists was $420,860 in May 2025, so half of workers earned more and half earned less. The lowest-paid 10% earned less than $89,010 and the highest-paid 10% more than $594,410. As an hourly rate, the median is $202.34. About 26,770 people work in this occupation nationwide. The highest state medians are in Minnesota ($708,340), South Dakota ($586,010) and Maryland ($581,510). After taxes and local prices, though, a median paycheck goes furthest in South Dakota.
