How much do facilities managers make?

The median annual wage for facilities managers was $106,660 in May 2025, so half of workers earned more and half earned less. The lowest-paid 10% earned less than $64,480 and the highest-paid 10% more than $176,120. As an hourly rate, the median is $51.28. About 156,180 people work in this occupation nationwide. The highest state medians are in Washington ($139,990), New York ($131,350) and Delaware ($129,260). After taxes and local prices, though, a median paycheck goes furthest in Alabama.
