How much do construction managers make?

The median annual wage for construction managers was $114,990 in May 2025, so half of workers earned more and half earned less. The lowest-paid 10% earned less than $69,690 and the highest-paid 10% more than $189,440. As an hourly rate, the median is $55.28. About 380,360 people work in this occupation nationwide. The highest state medians are in New York ($155,360), Washington ($155,070) and Massachusetts ($145,010). After taxes and local prices, though, a median paycheck goes furthest in Washington.
