How much do statistical assistants make?

The median annual wage for statistical assistants was $50,330 in May 2025, so half of workers earned more and half earned less. The lowest-paid 10% earned less than $35,990 and the highest-paid 10% more than $81,990. As an hourly rate, the median is $24.20. About 4,710 people work in this occupation nationwide. The highest state medians are in California ($82,580), Connecticut ($76,140) and Massachusetts ($70,470). After taxes and local prices, though, a median paycheck goes furthest in Connecticut.
