The median annual wage for pest control workers was $45,250 in May 2025, so half of workers earned more and half earned less. The lowest-paid 10% earned less than $34,680 and the highest-paid 10% more than $61,890. As an hourly rate, the median is $21.75. About 102,620 people work in this occupation nationwide. The highest state medians are in Washington ($51,300), South Dakota ($49,920) and Nevada ($49,240). After taxes and local prices, though, a median paycheck goes furthest in South Dakota.
